A 15% Sales Increase? Rss-blue

Want to know how we increased a company’s sales over 15% in 8 weeks?

In the last few years the amount of enquiry that now comes from an on-line source has exploded, resulting in more email and phone enquiry as your first point of contact. We have had six clients in the last six months who have needed to find a way to connect quickly with inbound prospects and keep them interested.

Loyalty is becoming harder to find, as are long concentration spans (another effect of the computer age), so it is even more important to create the kind of a connection that makes prospects favour you. That means connecting at a business level, sure, but you also need to make an impression at a personal level.

Here are two parts of the system we use that make a real difference – simple but effective.

Let us paint a picture; a prospect contacts you and says they are interested in what you offer.

Step 1: Say thank you for them calling. Yes, seriously. Think about it. When was the last time someone said thank you to you? Many say it at the end of a conversation as a pleasantry but how many say it at the beginning?

It is one of the few words left that has any real meaning and power. Yes, power. It has the power to reach a prospect instantly at a personal level and make them glad they called you.

Step 2: Tell them that you would like to be the one that helps them get what they rang for.

We call this ‘showing honest intent’. Modern research shows that customers want honesty from the people they do business with plus someone that will fix their problem.

This means in two brief sentences you have connected at a human level and demonstrated honesty and that you want to solve their problems.

Guess what – that is the sort of first impression that has them choosing you over the competition.

Of course, it really works well when you combine this simple introduction with the rest of the process we have designed.
